Baby Dynamo Granted an F3 Visa

Baby Dynamo is barely 3 months old. He was granted his F3 visa here in the Philippines by the Korean Embassy last February 19.

An Afternoon of Spring Weather in Naminara Republic

Last Saturday was another “ME” time. My boys (husband and son) allowed me to spend the day with friends at Nami Island.
Cathy had invited me the week before for this Foreigner’s Free Festival at the island. The festival is from February 28 - March 8, 2009. I am just so glad I accepted as this [...]

Advance Happy Valentine’s [...]

The US National Intelligence Council (NIC) released its 120-page report titled “Global Trends 2025: A Transformed World”. The report sees a unified Korea by 2025 although it does not see [...]

South Korea’s College Scholastic Ability Test

South Korea’s high school seniors took the College Scholastic Ability Test yesterday. The result of this test will determine their “future”. Koreans take too much importance on university education, most especially which university one graduates from. That is why, it is imperative for high school seniors to do very well on this exam. This is such [...]

State of Human Rights in North Korea is “Grave”

This is according to a CNN report today.
How ironic that a peninsula has two conflicting countries divided by a demarcation line running between the established demilitarized zone. More ironic is the contrast with the two countries’ respective lifestyle.
Seoul is a global financial center and is the third most expensive city in the world as of 2007 (Mercer Consulting). [...]
