New Love: Hanyul Skin Care Set

skin care products

Look what I got!

Love it! Love it! Love it!

When I first got the eye cream from Hanyul I thought I would be bothered by the ginseng smell. You see, Hanyul is an oriental skin care brand. Then I got the above gift set which includes a toner, an emulsion, a serum and a facial cream. It’ the complete package. Then I still have the eye cream. I am a Hanyul user! And I love it! Do I need to say that I love it again? hahaha…

Hanyul is from Amore Pacific, the same company responsible for Iope and Laneige. You’ve got to love this company. It gives the best skin care products.

Iope’s S.S Brightening Coral Powder

skin care products

A friend of mine said skin care products could be so addicting. I couldn’t agree more. Since I started venturing out to Korean skin care products – which just started a few months ago – I can’t stop myself from checking them out. Plus the fact that I get really good freebies – not just packet samples but VIP kits! Huh, it would not be surprising if hubby will impose a ban for my skin care purchases the next time he sees the bills.

One of my most recent purchases is Iope’s S.S (Small and Smooth) Brightening Coral Powder:

I love how it smoothens the skin and gives a brightening effect to the face, thanks to glitters that discreetly appear after 1-2 brushes of this coral powder. I rarely bring with me make-up kits for re-touches whenever I go out. A lip gloss is enough. But this coral powder makes me want to brush it on my face every now and then.

Needless to say, I am so into this product right now:-).

Iope Concealer and Primer

skin care products

I got a new concealer and eye primer. Without this, my eyebags would appear bigger and more swollen. The funny thing is, it still looks big, hahaha, but definitely better than without it.

What I love about this Iope concealer is I have both the concealer and primer in one stick:

I’m supposed to apply the primer before the foundation but since my eyes only get to rest for 4-5 hours a day, and sometimes I only get 3 hours, I apply it BEFORE and AFTER my foundation. After my second application, which is right after I apply my foundation, I just dab the primer lightly for it to evenly spread on my skin. Oh well, that’s extra coating for a skin like mine:-).
