I have to be honest, I bought the Holika Holika Cream Shadow and Petite Liner only because I loved the packaging… oh well, almost all Korean cosmetics have adorable packaging.
Anyway, I didn’t know much about Holika Holika. I knew of it as a “kikay” store selling these cosmetics but there was really nothing to rave about. When a friend and I were going around Myeongdong, we went inside several cosmetics shops just for the freebies. However, when I saw this in Holika Holika, I just had to buy it:
The first time I applied it – I’m not used to cream eyeshadow – was a disaster:-). It only looked so good upon application because of the glitter and it distributes well It looked really fine on the eyes but it was gone after an hour. The liner was no use, too as it just faded away. I didn’t think of using it again but curiosity got the better of me. I just dabbed some powder over it the second time I used it and it got me! Aside from its pretty gold packaging, I now have the luxury of using it anytime I want.
It isn’t a favorite of mine but it wasn’t a waste of money either:-).

Oh wow! Holika Holika…I’m also attracted to their packaging and was hoping to get an item from them last time. True, this truly looks so pretty. Glad, you’re able to find a workaround. 🙂

true how cute packaging can sometimes entice us to buying something. This one has indeed a cute packaging and the name is quite interesting 😀
