Must-try Dishes in Singapore

Mealtime is always the most challenging time when you travel with two boys – a 4 year old and a 19 month old.

But we just had to eat. And we just had to eat those dishes that were highly recommended to tourists like us.

Chili Crab was the most highly recommended dish and we went out of our way to go to the Newton Food Center to satisfy our cravings for the dishes that we should not miss.

This one is called a carrot cake but it’s nothing like what we know of carrot cake. Where is the carrot? And it’s not even a cake:-).

This one is supposed to be for the kids but they just kept on running around:

black pepper beef (?) forgot the name really

We tried the other dishes in other restaurants and food courts:

Laksa

The rice of this chicken meal is surprisingly delicious:

My Firstborn is not yet too adventurous with food so he devoured these chicken wings:

I saved the best for last. Two dishes that I loved the most from Makansutra Gluttons bay were:

Hi Mommy Wendy, wow! These looks yummy, Thanks for the recommendations. True, when we go to a Singaporean/Malay Resto here, we always try their crabs, and of course the satay. I like the Laksa too. There’s a food court resto here that sells that too, and it’s not at all pricey. :)

By the way, you made my day when you say I can ask for your help to get Korean goodies…:) Super happy! :)

Thank you for an additional informative website. Where else might I get that kind of info written in such a perfect approach? I’ve a challenge that I am just now operating on, and I’ve been on the glance out for such information.
