Perfect Timing

Time management with two boys with two different needs is not an easy thing to do. When I have set the time for eating for my Little Dynamo, my Baby Dynamo may be all over the place wanting and demanding for my attention to read books. When it is time to go to sleep, my Baby Dynamo may contentedly settle to feed while my Little Dynamo still has energy left to jump on the bed. Indeed, I am constantly watching out for the perfect timing for my boys.

But I have to start from somewhere and put my foot down on our schedule. Mealtime is a good start. A good kitchen wall clock might do the trick. As with¬†Little Dynamo’s¬†study time when he was younger, I used to excitedly point to the clock to indicate that it was time for us to do something. I could do the same now for these two active boys to make them understand that we have to stick to our scheduled meal time.

My cousin’s forthcoming wedding is a perfect time for us to check on wedding gifts, too. I think the couple will not be disappointed if we decide on a classy wall clock for them. Come to think of it, that’s a very good idea!
