The Baby Dynamo Turned 1 in Iloilo
It was a great day of good weather with family and long-time friends. Baby Dynamo turned 1 in my own hometown… in Iloilo City.
Esca’s, the restaurant where the party was held, was highly recommended for its food. We were not disappointed at all. Ilonggos have great taste in dining and when they recommend a place for good food, go for it!
Aside from the main dining hall, the restaurant has a huge garden for outdoor events. Days before the event, Iloilo had unpredictable rainshowers and so I was just overjoyed with the good weather the day offered during my son’s 1st birthday party:-). It also has a corner for swings and slides where the kids sweated before the party began.
My second-son loves to play with cars. But my first-son loves Lightning McQueen. What would be his birthday theme? Jasmin Sy of Personnalize Expressions, Inc. helped with the idea and the Ace Driver was it! He had different brand of cars in his tarpaulin lay-out and give-aways were bags with car logos. A keychain with his picture personnalized the give-away.
The table centerpiece had to be consistent with the theme,
and the cake, too:-)
The birthday boy went home babbling with delight that night.
It was a great day, fitting for the charming Baby Dynamo.
