The Peanut Vendor

Small kiosks like this are common especially along Calle Real in Ilioilo City:

I missed eating peanuts from these peanut vendors and even from those who carry along their stuff in small plastic baskets. I don’t have a sensitive tummy so I have no fear in eating these familiar street foods. For Filipinos living abroad, don’t you just miss this?

When I asked this lady if I could take her picture, she readily consented with, “Hatagan mo ko Amerikano nga penpal?” (“Are you going to give me an American pen pal?”). Some things never change. LOL.
