Baby Dynamo is 4 months old

Little Dynamo turned 4 months old yesterday. His 7kgs body is becoming a little too much for his lola so their bonding time has been lessened. She could not carry him for his morning sunshine anymore. But his daddy will be here very soon:-)…

We Have a Graduate

We have a graduate! Little Dynamo graduated, together with the regular pupils, this afternoon. We were supposed to have gone back to Seoul last February, then we moved it to March. Hubby’s constant business trips didn’t make March possible. Now, we are finally leaving this April. The extended stay made Little Dynamo’s vacation more memorable. [...]

When Boys Play

Little Dynamo visited his cousin, another boy, a few weeks ago in his house. They were happily playing with pillows. The nanny, who was watching the two, didn’t expect what happened next. The cousin threw away his pillows and got hold of  Little Dynamo’s face and… as if Little Dynamo’s face was an apple – heartily took [...]

5 minutes

I love to entertain. I love inviting people. I’m glad I got the chance to do just that before I leave for Seoul again. I arranged for a swimming party in the house for Little Dynamo’s classmates. Attendance was more than I expected. Some older siblings of his classmates were brought by their mommies. A number [...]

Beauty Bar Spender

My Little Dynamo had been a loyal Canus Goat’s Milk lotion and body wash user since he was a baby. I have always stocked up on it so even when we were in Seoul I had ample supply. So, it follows that my baby dynamo will also be a user. It isn’t available anywhere. I think [...]

A Toddler’s Prayer

One of the good practices that Little Dynamo got from school is praying. And so… since he started going to school, we have our bedtime prayer. Now, aside from our bedtime prayer, he prays whenever he wants to… in the bath tub… in the car… in the church… Wonder what he prays for? “Lord Jesus, Lord [...]

Mother, Grandmother and Chocolate Candy

Little Dynamo: Mommy, I want chocolate candies. Me: Nope, we don’t have chocolate candies. Little Dynamo: Mommy, give me money so I can buy chocolate candies. Me: Nope, we have a lot of food here. Lola:  It’s ok, let him have chocolate. You don’t let him eat chocolate in Seoul. Little Dynamo: (whining) Me: Nope. No crying. [...]

Summer is Here

The summer heat is here.  So, off we went to the nearest clubhouse in the city. Little Dynamo and cousin had so much fun. He showed his swimming skill (he doesn’t know how to swim *wink*) to Lola and confidently believed that he was teaching his lola and cousin to swim. I believe in instilling [...]

Have a Little Faith by Mitch Albom

copied verbatim from Mitch Albom’s “Have a Little Faith”: From a Sermon by the Reb, 1975 A man seeks employment on a farm. He hands his letter of recommendation to his new employer. It reads simply, “He sleeps in a storm.” The owner is desperate for help, so he hires the man. Several weeks pass, [...]
