Alagang-Buntis Massage at Skinetics

The receptionist at the Skinetics Medical Day Spa and Skin Center had a hard time looking for my records when I called them for an appointment…  I had to tell them I only go there once a year. If I’m luckier, it’s twice a year. LOL.

I availed of the “Alagang-Buntis” package from Skinetics yesterday. It included the “alagang-buntis” massage, facial and foot spa. I loved the massage!

I had a massage in Kuala Lumpur last July and the receptionist told me then that their therapist was trained to do body massage for pregnant women. I was just a little surprised that I was made to lie down on my back for the whole duration of the massage. In Skinetics, I was made to lie down on my sides. I immediately concluded, this Skinetics therapist knew what she was doing. A pregnant woman should avoid lying down on her back after her first trimester. She should lie down on her sides and should have a pillow in her legs to support her bulging tummy. The Skinetics therapist exactly followed that. And so…I allowed myself to settle down into the most relaxing experience I have had since coming home.

I loved it. And I would happily recommend this Skinetics “alagang-buntis” massage to other gloriously expecting women out there. Immediately after paying, I scheduled another session for next week… the day before I will be leaving Iloilo for Manila.
