We were invited to a 7th birthday party last night.

A 7th birthday celebration is usually a big family affair here in the Philippines. For some, it is a very well-planned, well-organized affair. For a few, it is a grand celebration.  But how grand is grand turns out to be relative. Let me share with you the grandest 7th birthday celebration we have attended so far:

We came into the venue greeted by party organizers who checked our names in the guest list, handed our party money and lobby snack stubs and guided us through registration to getting the party souvenirs and pointed to us several kiosks for face painting, nail art, star wars TV station and the Star Wars designed lobby for photo opportunity.

There were different party souvenirs for adults and for kids. Kids were given personalized thermal bags with several laser toys inside:

Several food carts were stationed for the guests’ afternoon snacks. These are some of them:

The venue was filled with guests. The stage was spectacular. Food was flowing. Entertainment was anything but ordinary. Child celebrities from the two biggest networks graced the affair.

My Little Dynamo enjoyed the affair. He joined one of the games and didn’t want to leave the stage. He was dancing and enjoying his own laser sword while the birthday celebrant performed for his guests.

Ahhhh… it was not your ordinary party.
