Korean Air: Travel Accomodation for Pregnant Women
I have always assumed that I can only travel until my 32 weeks of pregnancy. Beyond 32 weeks, I will be rejected by the airline. I guess, I assumed this because of my experience when I travelled with Philippine Airlines during my first pregnancy. I finally verified it with the Korean Air website and got this good news:
Travel allowance during Pregnancy:
Pregnant passengers are allowed to travel when a passenger is medically stable for flight. For details of travel allowance, please refer to the chart below:
| Weeks of Pregnancy (As on the departure date) | Travel Allowance | ||||
| Less than 32 weeks | Pregnant passengers are allowed to travel as regular passengers | ||||
| Within 32 ~36 weeks |
|
||||
| More than 37 weeks | Doctors recommend that pregnant women avoid traveling by plane after 37 weeks of pregnancy. | ||||
Documentation for pregnant passengers more than 32 weeks should be prepared as below:
| Documentation Required | Number of Copy | Remarks | ||||||||||||||||||
| Medical certificate | 1 copy |
|
||||||||||||||||||
| Declaration Form | 2 copies | |||||||||||||||||||
At least now we are not pressured to go back to the Philippines the soonest that we can. Important things could still be attended to.

I’m glad that you will more flexibility on your travel time. It will be there before you know it.
