Fitness at Home

I make no secret of the fact that I still go to the gym even now that I am pregnat. I have written several times in the past that I think my first pregnancy was a glorious one because of exercise. Fortunately, the gym is just on the second floor of our apartment so it is very convenient. However, this convenience does not always ensure that I go to the gym daily. If I wake up beyond 7 in the morning, I miss my gym for the day. My husband finishes gym at 7-7:10. My turn would be until a few minutes before 8.

If I plan to have my own home fitness machines, Smooth Fitness would be a good website to visit. The website has several machines to choose from suited for home use. That would be conveniently bringing my gym lifestyle inside my own home. Imagine while my son is playing and I am exercising in the treadmill or the exercise bike. Heaven on earth!

Since Korean homes mostly use wood for its floor, it’s good to use the equipment mat to protect the floor from contact from the treadmill or the exercise bike. I don’t want to think of the damage the machine’s weight would do on the floor after the daily use of these machines. It’s just good while I am pregnant for I will only be doing mostly brisk walking. But my husband runs! The impact would surely take its toll on the floor.

Since space is an issue, it’s good to know that there are a variety of folding treadmills to choose from. This is one very considerate machine for the space conscious. I could just fold the treadmill when I will not be using it anymore. It would only occupy space for an hour or two each day.

The benefits of having my own fitness machines would definitely extend beyond my pregnancy. It will even be more useful when the second baby comes out. Great! Time to talk to the hubby:-)
