hi ate wendy! waah! naluha naman ako... someday i'll be a mom and thanks for this one...

at the academy, the korean teachers would often ask me if dont i get impatient at all with the kids? i answered them: they're just kids who would rather choose to go out and play than stay here until what time their parents tell them to. i told them i know the children's feelings coz i had a very adventurous childhood, why can't these children have it too? the teachers said the children are rowdy... true, but i told them that today's generation is different. instead of the old-school manner of teaching, we must also do some adjustments if we really want to catch their attention. so far, i get good responses from my students. when they are impatient or getting impatient, i just encourage them we try to move faster with the lesson so we can go out early of play a game... the teachers further said they do all their best but the students still get low scores during a final test. i was surprised because last january, my students got really good scores. what i did was i always let them read out loud their book together or one by one in front so they do a lot of practice reading (and while they do that they get to see the korean translation of each text)--which the other teachers dont do...

having 5 "active" and really bright nieces, being able to take care of them, helping them with their homeworks, fetching them from school and listening to their endless chatters help me a lot cope up with my new job.
